Department of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources - Colorado State University
The mission of the Department of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources (HDNR) at Colorado State University is to empower people to explore and sustain their world. Our style is to re-image learning and discovery in ways that benefit people and the natural world. Core to our pursuit is understanding and attending to the needs and values of humans, human society, and culture as they relate to the conservation and enjoyment of the natural environment.
We deliver academic programs that focus on nature-based tourism, emphasizing the benefits of managing for a healthy, sustainable environment. Our programs include the Master of Tourism Management, which is offered in United States and cooperatively with Central China Normal University in China. The Department also offers a BS of Natural Resource Tourism (accelerated and online), a BS, MS and PhD in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, and an MS in Conservation Leadership; as well as graduate certificates in Adventure Tourism, Communications for Conservation and Ski Area Management. HDNR is also home to the US’s only Center for Protected Area Management (CPAM).
University of Sunderland

Moreover, it operates as a platform for research led teaching and provision of better education and knowledge dissemination. The pillars of CERTE’s research engagement are: (i) tourism, (ii) hospitality, and (iii) events. Its research connects these pillars of the service industry, and formulates knowledge under a multidisciplinary perspective.
Central China Normal University
Wuhan branch of China tourism academy, Central China Normal University (WBCTA, CCNU) approved by China Tourism Administration and China Tourism Academy, is an innovative platform integrating governments, enterprises and scholars. WBCTA, CCNU is the only branch set up in the university within China and focuses on regional development, tourism resource planning and protection, as well as tourism information technology etc.
In recent years, WBCTA, CCNU has undertaken hundreds of national and provincial level research programs as well as the programs committed by enterprises and public institutions. Thereinto, China Tourism Development Report WBCTA has edited each year since 2012 analyzes the current features, spatial-temporal patterns and cruxes of the problems in China’s tourism development, releases the newest and latest research results annually and has become an authoritative resource in tourism industry.
The Master Degree of Tourism Management, an education program jointly held with Colorado State University, created a new model to cultivate master students in tourism major and wins a high reputation in China.
University of Pisa

University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons
The University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons responsibly shapes the development of the university according to the principles of sustainable development, both by integrating sustainability values into its management and support tasks and into the fulfillment of its performance mandates in teaching.
For more than ten years, the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons has been a member of PRME, the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education. The six principles formulated therein are now used by around 600 teaching and research institutions involved in the education of future managers to design, implement and further develop socially and ecologically responsible education.
The competence area Tourism and Sustainability at the Institute for Tourism and Leisure (ITF) promotes and shapes tourism for the purpose of sustainable social development. Since 2017, the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons
has been offering the specialization (‘major’) "Sustainable Tourism and International Development" in the bachelor's degree program in tourism, which emerged directly from the IY2017 and the cooperation with the UNWTO.
University of Trento
