Deggendorf Institute of Technology
Faculty European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI)
The European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI) is a Faculty of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and opened its doors in 2015. It has since been committed to offering students a new, more diverse approach to education. It is Germany’s first Campus where all Bachelor and Master Programmes are taught entirely in English. Located in the heart of Bavaria, ECRI is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that enables imaginative out-of-the-box projects to enhance students’ education and support cutting-edge research in smart tourism. It is home to a thousand students from 90 different countries and its constant goal is to work with the community and local stakeholders to grow the local economy through international workforce development.
At ECRI, the degree in International Tourism Management will teach students a broad and methodological expertise through practical teaching. Students will acquire social and international skills, enabling them to competently and safely manage the complex and cross-cultural environment of tourism and in particular health and medical tourism.
ECRI’s project-based curriculum aims to equip students with the practical skills to excel in the real world. As technological innovation and problem solving become increasingly commodities, it is hoped that ECRI’s graduates will pioneer in their fields and have a positive impact on their industries. At ECRI, we are shaping the future of education through a new, more diverse approach to education. We guide students and support them to unleash their talent by meeting their unique skills.
With experienced colleagues and staff members, we are able to assemble a diverse team that will ensure that the Online Symposium is a unique and varied event.
